Poor Anthony...this has not been a good week for him :( First on Wednesday he had a high fever(102.5) with no other symptoms. The on-call pediatrician told us to take him to the ER to get him checked out just to be safe. That poor kid was poked, and prodded, and given fluids, and x-rays-it was traumatizing for all involved. They told us it was probably teething! The doctor said Anthony was "febrile", which I guess means he just had a high fever for an unknown reason. Fun! Better safe than sorry, though. So we took him home, and he was fine......til I got to him!
Last night I had him on the bed while I was getting dressed. He crawled right off the side and landed straight on his head-and our bed is really high. So there we were again, ER all over again! This time wasn't as bad, though. They asked if it was my first child and basically laughed at me for bringing him in! They were nice about it, though. They must see a lot of frantic mothers in there :)
Anyway, all this wouldn't be so bad if Mark and Laura(Adam's dad and sisiter) weren't up visiting. Anthony got poked and prodded so much at the hospital that he just didn't like strangers at first, but he is warming up to them now(Thank God!).
Anywho, that's life at our house the past week. Hope y'all are doing good!

Awww, poor guy. It just gets "better" from here though. I'll never forget our ped's advice - if they hit their head and don't lose conciousness, then they're fine. YIKES! You did the right thing though - when in doubt, ask the pro!
Welcome to "the toddler years" :-)
MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!
